I shoot in RAW,just like the Denim. No filters,but I do use post processing software,called DXO Photolab. I pretty much bring down the highlights,which brings out/accentuates the Orange and Blue.They have a very good noise reduction feature as this was shot at ISO 10,000

I shoot in JPG only, all adjustments are predefined in my custom film recipes. That’s what I love Fuji for

I’m just learning Lensball Photography,as I was getting bored with my own photography. I thought let me try some of this. There are people who are doing some really outrageous creative cool stuff with them. Go to www.Lensball.com as well as their social media feeds. They are always offering specials. Took me a while to get to be able to edit just the image inside the Lensball,which is a refraction,which is why it’s always upside down,unless you rotate it. @weftyarn

One of the things I struggle with is,when is Photography art? I know when I’m photographing surfers ,no matter how cool it is at the end of the day it’s just a record of an event. Sunrises/Sunsets,can be stunning/beautiful,but is it art? In my mind the above picture of the woman putting her makeup on is art. Any other thoughts on the subject?

What is art, generally, is a hotly debated subject in philosophy. It can get very emotional for some people, yet it is mostly a question of definition. In my mind, the term "art" doesn't carry a moral valence, as opposed to beauty, for example.
