I ordered a pair of elk skin gloves. They are crafted in the USA from premium elk skin and handfinished with their own wax.
They are unlined but warm and buttery soft out of the box and I can’t wait to beat them up being outside, walking the dog.

My goatskin Toy's McCoy gloves which I've been using for the past couple of years.  Very comfortable with great wind resistance and pretty good insulation.

Been eyeing these for years. How is sizing on them?
Also could u post a worn picture, I’m wondering how long they are.

Anyone here have experience with JRC (Churchill gloves) I just ordered a pair of lined goatskin work gloves from them. The only thing I can say now about them is that they were very helpful. They have been making gloves since 1897 or something like that so sounds like they know what they are doing.

Hi mate, just wondering how you went with the Crud gloves. I had a bad experience with my Buco Deer Skin gloves that were bloody and expensive. 3 months of daily riding and a hole appeared in the top of left thumb, Deer skin was paper thin. Looks like a burn, but hand on heart this appeared when trying a gently ph neutral clean. The hole looks like it goes all the way through but I just interested a piece of light leather to show the hole. RMC basically said I burnt them so bad luck! So yeah I'm back in the market for vintage style gloves. If you have any other suggestions apart from Motostuker I would love to hear.

Still not dry, but no longer looks burned

Hey @Jase68 i am more than pleased with the gloves. I have been wearing them daily during the winter months walking the dog and was riding in them. They hold up strong with little signs of wear.
I have been cleaning them once with saddle soap and conditioned them afterwards.
So far I can only recommend these.

Those are beautiful. I thought they were deerskin at first, as I have some deerskins that look similar except for a slightly different grain. I find the deerskins to be a great glove and I am sure elk is at least as good for gloves.

                                  Think it, be it.

Exactly. Elk skin from the US manufactured in Sweden. There are other leather options but I opted for these since I wanted something warmer. I ride in the motostucka in summer.

About time some IH gloves are posted in this thread, right? Got these 5 years ago from IHJ with help from the IHUK Stubborn Crew. They are my in-town motorcycle daily drivers and have held up amazingly well. I have a black and a brown pair but decided to post the brown ones as they show patina much better than my black ones.

IHGB-01-BRN Gloves, leather, motorcycle, short cuff

When new, they were light brown colored, about the tone of brown you can still see on the knuckle area top-side of the glove. Have never conditioned and they’ve gradually darkened quite a bit. Especially the grip-side of them.

                                            The journey is the objective.
