for those of you that layer type 3 denim jackets over a hoodie or uhf shirt. how do you guys size? how is it with something less thick on days when it's just a tee?

In my experience, you can do a type III with similar chest measurements to your preferred shirt size and get a hoodie under it without looking stuffed. Otherwise I look for type III’s a little smaller than shirt size for wearing over just one layer.

Where I live having type III’s in two sizes, (one for summer, one for autumn/spring), is easily justifiable.

I don't have that luxury right now of having 4 seasons  😢 😢 neither do I have my UHF with me to test. I do pair it with the waffle henley and it's an okay fit. just wondering if it's too much to go a size up in the type 3 and pair with hoodies or shirt while being able to still wear it just over a tee if needed.

I have size 38 and size 40 type IIIs, and I wear all of them layered or with just a tee. Layering the 38 can feel a little tight but is okay. The 40 may look a little baggier with just a tee, but I’ve never thought it looks bad. If you want movement and comfort, I’d say a size up won’t kill ya

Has anyone ever put hot pepper sauce in their birdseed to deter squirrels before? I don't mind feeding the squirrels too, but they are bullies and chase the birds away. They are really greedy and a pain in the ass. I feel kind of bad harming them and I definitely don't want to hurt the birds. They have a tough enough life as it is, out in the cold.

The birds should be fine. A colleague worked on something in this area and I believe that birds are insensitive to capsaicin so don’t get the hot response. The smell/taste should deter the squirrels before they eat too much, so I guess they’ll be fine (just a bit hungry).

Hot pepper does not permanently harm the squirrels, but I’ve found it only temporarily deters them so I generally shy away from using it. If they’re desperate enough, they’ll eat it anyway and put up with the sting. Fun fact: bird food manufacturers have to double the amount of hot pepper in the bird seed every couple years because squirrels quickly evolve to be able to resist the spice.

The best solution I’ve found is to use the ‘squirrel defender’ feeder. The one downside is that the no-mess food doesn’t cycle through it well. You could probably also use a ‘dinner bell’ feeder but they might figure that out eventually.

                                      Yep.

                                      In Haraki's words…..

"We had promotion events at 2 stores our retailer in Kyushu area.
For the event, we did a collaboration with Flat Head and made towels, mugs and key holders. I will send you a few of each.

Let me tell you the reason why we did the collaboration. The retailer used to have Flat Head’s only shop. While FH was dead, they started to selling IH. The retail requested to have a joint sales event. So, we did this time."

                                      It's a SS22 vest - you asked, we made 🙂
