I’ve worn my Wescos on the bike in all kinds of rain,and never had the slightest bit of shrinkage after they had dried. I can’t imagine Chris thinking  that’s the way to go. I also can’t imagine him not doing whatever it took to make you happy.

Chris is the best!!. I msg him every now and then to talk about makeups etc. he write back on Instagram pretty freaking fast too.

…@Jett129 two things after seeing the boots, #1 I can really see the 'Durango Harness boot' look in the body of the boot where as if I would of went with the 'Engineer Boss boot' body and added the harness it would look more like an engineer boot. Cowboy boot vs Engineer boot I guess. #2 Had I went the engineer route with the rear strap pull instead of the side pulls, the knife pocket would of looked cleaner with no obstructions. Not a big deal, no one see's it, just a thought on aesthetics.

…sent Wesco an email just waiting for a response.  Was going to go ahead and order some inserts for them but because their 'custom' I don't have an actual size for them. 11-11 1/2-12, E-EE-EEE? :-\  We'll soon find out.

my new Wescos - 11’’ custom boss in brown CXL leather, heels ¼’’ lower and top strap only, #430 vibram sole, tobacco leather lining, lightweight brown upper and white outsole stitching - waited 8 month for them, but the result is perfect

Great build endo. Top strap only looks great and separates it from the rest. The white stitching is perfect.
I hope my custom boss arrives soon.
Already built my olive waxed flesh custom boot Just wait for the other one to arrive to see if i need to make changes to my last.

@endo super cool boots man! I would of never thought to remove the strap on an Engineer boot, I would of went with the 'Morrison' but that looks great!!

Thanks guys  and @vaquero357 I wanted the round Boss toe but with a 'pure' shape, therefore no instep strap. I do like the top one though. But perhaps a next project could be a Morrison in Burlab

BTW, your harness boots are super cool. They remind me of a pair of harness boots I bought in 1990 somewhere in Montana when I was touring the US for a couple of months in a 77 Chevy Suburban .
