my new Wescos - 11’’ custom boss in brown CXL leather, heels ¼’’ lower and top strap only, #430 vibram sole, tobacco leather lining, lightweight brown upper and white outsole stitching - waited 8 month for them, but the result is perfect

Great build endo. Top strap only looks great and separates it from the rest. The white stitching is perfect.
I hope my custom boss arrives soon.
Already built my olive waxed flesh custom boot Just wait for the other one to arrive to see if i need to make changes to my last.

@endo super cool boots man! I would of never thought to remove the strap on an Engineer boot, I would of went with the 'Morrison' but that looks great!!

Thanks guys  and @vaquero357 I wanted the round Boss toe but with a 'pure' shape, therefore no instep strap. I do like the top one though. But perhaps a next project could be a Morrison in Burlab

BTW, your harness boots are super cool. They remind me of a pair of harness boots I bought in 1990 somewhere in Montana when I was touring the US for a couple of months in a 77 Chevy Suburban .

Agreed. Occasionally, I think I should get a another pair of burlap boots.

…took delivery of two pair of leather inserts from Wesco, size 12. Threw one pair in and it felt good, threw the second pair in and felt perfect! They're just shy of 1/8" thick individually and together once that leather pad forms to my heel and ball I think I'll be fine. Problem solved!

LTT burlap rough out?

Thanks! Yes, LTT burlap RO, double mids, 700 sole but 2 heel lifts lower to make it a bit more balanced and sleek. Mix of khaki and white stitching, smoothout tongue for a little texture snd shade variant. Brass eyelets and hooks, no pull tab.

Overall, robust but super comfy out of the bag

That’s a good makeup. I’ve been thinking about getting something similar, but on raptor malt. Possibly for next years patina Thunderdome. Right now I’m focused on the natural Essex pair
