Ha! People ask me why I wear Iron Heart and a sterling silver motorcycle chain if I don't ride. I always tell them because IH is high qual and that's it.

And yeah I feel like the non-motorcycleiness of it is kinda what I was going for, really feel like sometimes I don't wanna roll into a place looking like a Ramone (but then again, sometimes I do). And the Cassady shirt is for sure a great one — I've owned several and highly recommend em.
And @henry_david hahaha hell yes, that is fucking amazing… also is that TYONDAI BRAXTON FROM BATTLES?. I think The Onion is pulling some mega meta shit with that one.

Hey–you are an avid cyclist @henry_david , not for nuthin the chain helps there. Though in my chain wallet days I wore it irrespective of biking.
I did used to rock the old Ramones style double breasted Harley jacket and you make a valid point about how dope those are @popvulture I can't help but feel a little poseurish if I'm too motorcycly. Like tattoos, I admire motorcycles from afar. Commitment issues keep me from one, and my wife from both.

I’m a huge fan of the old Abercrombie/
Omersa animals and want to someday order an animal ottoman, but until then this little guy from The Real Mccoys will suffice. Hand made, Shinki horsehide, and def heirloom quality. I bought it to give it to Amelia but I might keep it for myself

Hey guys, I just got a new Cooper Horsehide jacket - looks awesome, but feels pretty snug on my chest over a t-shirt and UHF (normal winter bike riding top)
Can I expect this to loosen or break-in a bit over time or is HH too stubborn?
Any help would be much appreciated

Truth is, that horsehide isn't going to stretch much. That's not my experience. If it feels too tight, it's not going to get appreciably looser with wear. That said, they are kinda'suppposta' fit snug, quite snug. Unless you want the layering.

Real McCoy military shirt in "natural". I sized up to a large on it, should get a chance to wear it next day or so, feels like a thermal on steroids

Didn't manage to grab a fit pick, but the quality of the fabric is pretty awesome. Different knit then a traditional waffle, ends up a little heavier and less stretchy on the hand feel

Does anyone own the Deerskin Down Jacket? The sizing is way bigger than the vest and I don’t want to swim in it - I have an a1 size 44 which is a nice close fit but the deerskin seems to be more like a 47 inch. I am an xl in ih uhf and an xxl in some of the ih denim westerns. Any advice?

Maybe a long shot, but curious if anyone here's ever owned the RMC denim western:
I just got one, and it's a little big. S&S's site says they've rinsed them, but this shirt doesn't at all feel like that's the case (crispy new Wrangler shirt vibes), so I emailed them to ask.
Mainly just wondering if anybody's happened to have owned one, and how much shrink you got out of yours. I'ts a killer shirt, and I wanna keep it, just not sure if I should give it a wash or maybe just size down.

Heard back from Mari at S&S — my shirt wasn't washed. Def some shrink to be expected, so I gave it a hot soak just now with a good bit of agitation. Hangin' up to dry in the sun.

Nice you can't go wrong with using boiling water and forced heat to shrink it. Good luck. I really like that shirt because of the eclectic snaps.

Me too! It's great looking — I'm a big fan of their denim in general, too. I have the Lot 001 and though it's way different than IH, I love the color and texture. One of the only other companies where I've been like phew this fabric is right up my alley.
The shirt's definitely looking like it's shrunk a bit, but I'll have to wait a bit til it's fully dry to give it a try-on.

The 10oz sweatpants are fantastic. Uber soft but still substantial, with a roomy but not baggy fit. Blasphemy I know, but they are making it hard to want to put jeans back on.
