I'm trying not to be nervous since I've never needed surgery for anything before.
General anaesthetic is awesome. See you on the other side mate.

Routine AF man, you will do great!
-
Thanks everyone, It should and most likely will all go smoothly
-
@Joberwocky Good luck man! Take care of yourself and report back. Piece of cake.

If I'm on here later talking smack on bibs and UHFs, it's a residual side effect of the anesthesia

I vote that this must happen. [emoji1]

@Joberwocky Hope you're doing ok…Just a little mood music.

Fantastic @goosehd Floyd is easily my fave classic rock group. I'm under the effects of some medication right now but it's not strong enough to knock out the pain in my abdomen entirely. That's fine, it's nothing unbearable. Wearing the Bibs to surgery was a absolute power move, though
had my wife snap a pic once I was finally up and ready to leave

Like a post-op Bib Boss. Did the surgeon fix that badass fade for you too? Damn, son [emoji41]

Thanks @neph93 , being home bound for a bit I'm sure I'll be jumping on the forum a lot more. Shame there's no UHHH, or as my wife calls them "Bibby Hours" (her introduction to IH was when I bought my bibs)

Next one will be 6th November. Stay bed bound until then.

I look forward to it, bud, thanks for the update.

…@Joberwocky staples or stitches? Ouch to either one of them.
Hope they zipped you up good and here's to healing fast!

Kind of interesting, my 822 pair were really smelly last night and they are nowhere ready to be washed yet. So I dumped 92 percent isopropyl alcohol all over them last night and let it evaporate off. They don't smell the same way anymore. Now they smell like mothballs or something similar. I plan on soaking them maybe if I ever get more than a day off soon.

@vaquero357 neither. Laparoscopic so a series of smaller incisions they just bandaged up that are supposed to hold for about 10 days. They said the hernia was pretty large, which made it "difficult to pull everything back together" which wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear
Surgeons got the job done, though, so good on them. They did mention though that my recovery, and it's ensuing soreness, would probably be a while. Oh well. I'm the dummy that didn't get it taken care of sooner.
I'm gonna have to tell the IH Crew to add "perfect surgery recovery clothes" to the 805 page. Buttons on the side to get an ice pack where I need it has been clutch. My chore now is to try and ignore aches and get some sleep. -
@Filthy while I understand in the end they "are" just clothes, your free wheeling approach to shrinkage and experimenting is always interesting
