What's your favorite Beer?

Yeah @Kirk for sure. Hancock was so legendary in the second great quintet though and as you mention was on the genesis of electric Miles before he did his own brilliant fusion thing. Foolish firing by Miles but hard to argue with their mutual results. Bitches Brew has several moments that send chills up my spine, give me goosebumps, and make me chuckle. It would be hard to overstate the contributions of each of these men to music. And to think of all the great players on Miles’ bands, the sprawling lineup on BB included, the first quintet/sextet, the second one, redefining jazz a few times, launching or at least getting in early on the careers of so many great players… an overwhelming and unmatched legacy.
Highly recommend his autobiography if you haven’t read it.

^ loved the x-files. One day I’ll watch it all again.
A bit risky with a 10%’er at 5pm, but I’m celebrating a cracking Liverpool win and some progress in the basement. This is beer like it used to be… four or five years ago [emoji1] Cracking old school IIPA/DIPA, grapefruit, pine needles, biscuit. Love it.

That is a cracking idea. I don’t normally miss the U.K. but Xmas 2019 was my last trip (thanks Covid), the need is real.
