Here is some old school cool. Willie Nelson and Leon Russell album with Bonnie Raitt and Maria Muldaur sit-ins. Just thinking about what artists like these, Lowell George, Linda Ronstadt, and others were doing in the 70s makes me think the disco was worth it

Here is Blake Mills channeling Ry Cooder. Blake is one of my new favorite guitarist/artist/producers. His work is all over Bob Dylan’s latest album “Rough and Rowdy Ways” which I listened to a lot during the pandemic. The guitar tone here is bonkers.

I gave grandson's first album ("Death of an Optimist") a few listens and enjoyed it. Definitely not for everyone. I also listened to an interview on a podcast I sporadically follow, interesting kid.
