BROTHERHOOD OF BIB
-
I almost bought those, but then a friend referred to them as BirkenCrocs, and I wasn't able to view them the same again.
lol well that's a selling point for me
I have owned Arizonas for some years now and am a recent convert to Bostons. I was thinking that having these would cover all my bases and all weather scenarios (save for snow of course ;)).
I like to think of em as like Crocs but, ya know, acceptable. They're my personal Birk jams — I really wanna like Arizonas but they make my feet look funny. And my feet look plenty funny on their own, like super white yeti paddles. They don't need any help looking weird.
-
So you have the Londons then @popvulture? Dig them and wear well? How's sizing, etc.?
-
I would've gotten them, but mostly would just wear around the house or the neighborhood. They just wouldn't replace my slippers or Arizonas for most purposes. They still look good, though, especially in the black.
-
Oh I thought y'all were talking about Bostons. I have considered the London but I do know that they get pretty stinky. I think not having the full shoe vibe around the back on the Bostons at least keeps em a little more aerated / less prone to reek.

From the sound of it I gotta step my sandal game up
-
So how much shit are y’all gonna give me if I buy some Carhartt duck bibs? I don’t think I can jump in at 5 hundo, gotta test the waters first. Bibby steps.
-
I've got a few pairs of Levi's ones I don't need anymore..
-
Denim or canvas? I think I’d really like a pair of black canvas ones, but of course like everything mass produced these days, it looks like Carhartt has fucked with the recipe and changed the product for the worse. Man there are some salty reviews haha…
-
I appreciate the term "Bibby steps"

I help where I can

I think the forms that I sent in to Wesco were lost in the post @LewisStonehouse

Some modern day " Gladiator" sh*t right there @henry_david
-
@henry_david I used to have a pair of Arizona's I was in love with, then a pair of rainbows, that like everyone, I wore into a pulp. Been a couple years since I owned a pair of sandals (usually a boat shoe guy for throw on footwear) but I might get back into the Birk game
-
I think the Birk game is more noble than the flip flop game (though I have had and enjoyed Rainbows). Friends do let friends bib and Birk.

Yeah, the Euro Birk line keeps throwing me surprises, @dinobarnesberlin.
Lotta models not found in the US lineup.
