BROTHERHOOD OF BIB
-
(For goodness sake don't)
I have been with my wife since I was a junior in highschool. 17 years later, I am NOT that brave
-
@chrisjohnnick you are KILLING those overalls, great fit (and closet
).
I haven't been on here all day only to find the threads grown by 4 pages AND there's superfluous references to The Fifth Element.Man, you guys just get me sometimes

Superfluous? Never!

Haha, I saw TFE in theatres, strangely I don't think I've watched a single movie more times, Chris Tucker absolutely owns this movie, also the first two Rush Hours
-
MAIL DAY.
My only regret is having them arrive on a day that is 93 degrees outside. Fit is PERFECT. Just have to mess with the straps and buckles a bit. Have to see where they should hit without digging into my collarbones while wearing a bag.
@chrisjohnnick NAILED IT! They look absolutely awesome, brother. And also drooling over your closet!

Amen. In my Arizonas as I type this. I went out to meet up with some friends I hadn't seen in months last night due to quar and this pesky global pandemic. I slipped outta my Arizonas and into my white Bostons for the occasion. A very natural pairing with my bibs.

Okay so I feel like this is the best spot for this question: do I go full Birk dad and get some of these to round out my collection? Y/N
-
I've got a couple pairs of Birk Arizona's (The EVO version in black, and the standard in charcoal gray). I don't have those exact ones, but I do have the slippers that are a somewhat similar shape with the fur lining.
I almost bought those, but then a friend referred to them as BirkenCrocs, and I wasn't able to view them the same again.
-
Also, been wearing these 805's today to break 'em in a little more (they were used, so luckily they already have a little bit of softness in them). Today it was 97 degrees around 3pm.
This is a bad week to break in 805's and XHS 666's. Just trying to get my fit perfected and comfy before the Fall.

lol well that's a selling point for me
I have owned Arizonas for some years now and am a recent convert to Bostons. I was thinking that having these would cover all my bases and all weather scenarios (save for snow of course ;)).
As for the 805 break in, I believe in you @chrisjohnnick! I def had to shelve these suckers in Los Angeles and Dallas heat these past few weeks, but am fully rocking them rn in foggy San Francisco.

I like to think of em as like Crocs but, ya know, acceptable. They're my personal Birk jams — I really wanna like Arizonas but they make my feet look funny. And my feet look plenty funny on their own, like super white yeti paddles. They don't need any help looking weird.
-
So you have the Londons then @popvulture? Dig them and wear well? How's sizing, etc.?
-
I would've gotten them, but mostly would just wear around the house or the neighborhood. They just wouldn't replace my slippers or Arizonas for most purposes. They still look good, though, especially in the black.
-
Oh I thought y'all were talking about Bostons. I have considered the London but I do know that they get pretty stinky. I think not having the full shoe vibe around the back on the Bostons at least keeps em a little more aerated / less prone to reek.
