I have to agree with Reuben here. I sorta forgot that until I had my IH overalls arrive in the mail a few weeks ago: the hand feel is splendid from the start. It does breathe very well, but I've felt the weight this week with a couple of days with 90% humidity ???
I happen to have a couple of the 634 in the 21oz and one in the 25oz. You won't be disappointed, @recallclothing

I can 100 percent agree on how wonderful the signature IH 21oz denim is. It's got such a nice velvety soft texture straight out of the bag. I have been wearing sized down 25 XHS for a few months and then I started wearing an old pair of 822 and they are so comfortable. The reverse side of the denim has the most amazing hand feel. I have imagined having a duvet cover made out of this stuff with the reverse facing out before.

Stumbled upon a pair of 634s with a 27” waist from the SE site and decided to pick them up. Some days I think the cut works for my frame, other days not so much. The one thing I do know is that the looser leg doesn’t aggravate the eczema on my knee so calling that a win

634s look really great on you @RoxRocks86 . I’ve never been drawn to this cut for some reason and tend to go for something more tapered, but if I were guaranteed a fit like yours I wouldn’t hesitate.

@Palmer If you’re able to get your hands on a pair to try on first you should definitely go that route. I’ve seen you rock the 666 cut. These two cuts don’t deviate too far from each other and I find the top block between the two quite similar…so there’s that
@jerkules same! Slim and tapered are my go to fits, but wanted more variety so started venturing to other cuts. It’s always nerve wracking not knowing how things will actually fit especially since it takes time for denim to conform and drape properly. Been wearing this pair for a few weeks and it’s been washed a few times so looks like they are beginning to take shape. On the initial try they looked like cardboard full of regrets and heartache

Would like some advice on the fit. My waist measures 37 inches exactly. 634S 21 Oz Tag 36 says is 36 inch waist and Tag 38 is 38 inch, so after some measurements I decided to go with 38.
Here is how they fit on me (see images below), I notice the waist a bit lose but with a belt it's going to be ok. Right now the fit seems good. From those who own these do these stretch out significantly with wear? If Tag 36 is truly 2 inches smaller, I suspect I would not button them up.
