Looking for a wee bit of help with sizing from the Bib Boyz. I'm a 34 in both the 634 and 888 cuts, and due to having fairly mega thighs both fit fairly snug up top on both, i.e. the 888s are a pretty slim fit on me, but fit like a glove. So I'm thinking I would go for a 36 in these for a bit of extra thigh room, as the 34 is slightly smaller on the thigh than the 888 as I definitely want something more relaxed in the thigh, just a bit concerned that the oversized waist in these might make em a bit ridiculous. What do we think?

@LewisStonehouse – I wear a tagged 34" in the 634 and need every last bit of the thigh space. I went with a tagged 34" with these and I actually have room in the thigh to spare. The 634 fit me like a slim straight and these fit me like a true straight leg. The 40" waist on the 34" still allows me to put on a heavy sweater under the bib. Any input on that, @Filthy (a.k.a., our resident bib prez)?

I just had a sod it moment and ordered the 36. If I'm honest, I've put on a wee few pounds over the last year so they've got a good chance of being right, the thigh measurement certainly looks right, and as Henry says it's good to have a bit of room for a thick top (I'm particularly fond of the chunky heimat textil jumpers)

Side question - should I be wary of rocking with white t-shirts initially? Never had issue with denim shirts but I can see the shoulder straps transferring there indigo goodness quite readily

Since I'm still mostly working from home, I'll just go hillbilly and wear it bareback round the house for a few weeks. The Mrs will love it

@LewisStonehouse bend over and try to touch your toes. If you must exhale to do this I recommend sizing up to 36. If you don't then 34 it is. Or like if you have to groan when standing up or getting out a car by all means, size 36..

I’m taking mine to tailor tomorrow. I’ve got an old pair of Mister Freedom jeans I’m going to get made into shorts and I’ll have him use the leftover material to extend the straps and make the pocket mod on the inside. Really excited to show the results and some fit pics
