We got the sample today. It looks amazing in the 18oz vintage denim. The sample is made with the brass tack buttons, but I think we will change to copper. The old brass ones rotate and rattle, and whilst they look cool, we think it will be better to have non-rattling buttons on it.
If you can have a small batch made with the original brass buttons that would be great. It's really what seals the deal for me. Looking forward to more updates on this. -
2+ years by now–zero washes. My first and still most-loved IH piece! My only concern is that the fabric at the elbows is wearing really thin (see close-up), and I'm worried I'll have holes in them before long. Can these be reinforced or something like that, @Giles?

@Lowlander jacket is looking amazing dude. I ended up selling mine bc I have grown to large for it. Love the fades on yours!!!

Thanks @Oaktavia! I'm sorry you had to sell yours, though I've seen you in the replacement (the 19 is LHT right?), which looked really good. Do you stil have that type 2 I saw you in or did you get rid of that too?

You are correct and the 19oz Lefty I absolutely love it- I see you have one as well. We must have the same taste!.
Oh yes I still have the type II indigo/indigo but have not worn it since the Lefty came in. I'll wear them both this fall. For now, I will wear the Lefty until it is too warm.

@Lowlander jacket looks amazing man! Chesson who deals with the repairs and reinforcement is off on annual leave for the next week. I am sure he will be able to add some reinforcement to the sleeves but I am not sure how easy it is to access those areas on the darning machine. I will make a note for him to get back to you with some firm details when he is back

Saw this hanging on my coat rack, had to take a pic. I love this jacket and this denim.

Though I don't look it, I am very happy to be wearing this jacket again, after it has had some expert repairs done to the elbows by @JoshC (thank you again, Josh!).

@chillmonroe shoulders look good, length is spot on for a riders jacket. take a picture of the jacket buttoned up and with the hands out of your pockets so we can judge better on p2p and sleeve length.

thoughts? It’s a bit too snug for a UHF or a hoodie underneath as it is, but maybe if it stretches a little. It’s also tight in the elbows if I hug, but again, if it stretches
