The problem with the previous set up is that I had to slide the rods in and out and the rings would get caught on the gut, and there was not enough room front or rear for the really long rods without inserting them at an angle then all the other rods got hit.

These (Bike hooks) and just lift and drop….

I popped down the beach for a few casts earlier today - we have a red floaty weed issue.  That'll be with us now until mid-May, will need to select where I fish with care…..

Three of my European mates are in the Med, fishing for Blue Fin Tuna.  I could not go because we are not allowed to travel outside of UK.  They had 6 yesterday

Giles, Big Game fishing? April & may are the best times of the year for tuna and marlin.
Possible to know where are they? Simple curiosity;)
