Is this the right fit? Is this meant to be a jacket or shirt? I recently bought also bought a ironheart mil Serge shirt, also xxl. I can literally wear both at the same time, or wear a sweater underneath. That IS the intention right?

I have the over-dyed version and typically wear it over another work or western shirt, or over a waffle shirt or hoodie.

What they said ^ and to add, I have two CPOs, one is 11.5oz denim that is more fitted as an XL and one that I got yesterday in the mail that is a 17oz duck at XXL for an over shirt. Yours being an 18oz imo would serve better as an over shirt/shacket.

Those fades are so good!
Any idea how much shrinkage over time after the machine washes?  I have yet to wash mine, but also wouldn't mine a bit of shrinkage.

So I finally gave in and gave mine its first wash yesterday after around 6 months of wear. It feels like it's shrunk maybe 1/2 a size which for me is no bad thing as I prefer my shirts to look fitted. Noticeable across the chest when layering. Anyway, I'm happy with how it looks and feels (it's a bit softer yay!) The contrasting blues are really starting to pop.

The IHSH-292 will be the replacement for the IHSH-177 and will be made from 18oz vintage denim….

The IHSH-293 will be the overdyed version...
