"Schnee"zus Martha I didn't realize I had turned folks on.
My opinion after a month or so of wear is that I will adore these for decades. They are very comfortable and have a great mix of hefty and soft (both the leather and rubber). They don't keep my feet at a perfect temp when I'm riding, but without moving your toes and feet, it's something that every rider struggles with.
@Filthy you need a costco size pack of lint rollers and about 90 minutes of work to get that sawdust out. So I was taking a hike after a really bad few days. Took a moment to go up the mountain once I got back to Santa Fe this morning. It was a beautiful day and so peaceful. Then when I get back to the lot, this is what’s waiting.
I just lost a GR1, untold IH, an IPhone I just bought my mother, a MacBook Pro, my spare hard drive, iPad, iPod, chargers, headphones, my social security card, my birth certificate, all my mothers social security paperwork, her social security number, her disability payment info, all my significant info…

And I thought it was a bad day when a rock jumped up and cracked my windshield this morning while I was driving through the desert on cruise control thinking nice thoughts. I thought I was already at the bottom, guess not. I don’t even know where to begin to get things back together. A catastrophic core breach seems imminent. Wish me luck, cause obviously I have none

Well, if there is moving forward after this, and I’ve yet to realize the full scale of the damage, then I will definitely be moving forward with much less worldly attachments. There are a few members here who are aware of my particular situation over the last many years. Needless to say, most everything I had was in that car.

I'm really sorry that happened to you. Please be sure to call like Equifax and tell them to put a freeze on your credit, that all your stuff was stolen. I hope you filed a police report too.
Maybe try and post a list of stuff that was stolen and we can keep an eye out for it to appear on Ebay and here? …then get some vigilante justice.

Nah, just my iPhone. The new iPhone I bought my mom hadn’t even been turned on yet. The MacBook, iPad and iPod are old and I don’t think that’s set up on them. Nothing was out in the open. All they could see was the top of a backpack and two IHC-06’s. They decided to break the window for one backpack. Ended up hitting the thief jackpot…and left the hats for some reason, maybe they looked too faded...

Hopefully that can get sorted tonight. I’m still with an officer getting a police report. Having to itemize what’s gone is heartbreaking. Will have to change all my passwords and request new cards and request new documents. Maybe I can get to that tonight.

Yea the only reason I was carrying all those documents was because I had literally just returned from Texas dealing with my mother’s life situation. This was the first place I went after grabbing coffee.

I left my sketch books in my GR1 too
Damn.And with my external hard drive, my MacBook and my sketchbooks gone, all my digital artwork is no more and all the archival images of sold work are now gone too. Oh well I guess
