Well, yes, that is the original dream.
I don't think Haraki is ever going to go for it, though.On the other hand, he has tried stuff I never thought he'd do, so hope springs eternal.
Edit: and bring back the sterling silver rivets I still regret not getting on my first pair of IH jeans…

The intent is that we will do the 5 core cuts in each of the denims, but that means we will have to spread the releases over a few months/year…

What is the difference between UHR and XHS?
They are very different. UHR stands for Ultra Heavy Raw.
It is loomstate, so no post weave processing, a lighter indigo, fades very quickly, and will shrink quite a lot. Must be soaked and washed before wearing. It is also a very tight weave.

you really ought to brock. i have the nama tako 888 and they are my favorite pair. i um currently don’t fit in them

Is the 16oz slubby denim going to be a looser weave like the 16oz Vintage was?

About 11 years ago, I asked Haraki to make a denim pullover, the response I got was less than enthusiastic. About 6 years ago, I tried again. Same response.
I sent him a mail yesterday, saying, I'm going to ask one more time, and if you say no, I will never ask you again.
He said yes, and is working on a design…..

I'm wondering if it will be more of a WWII derived piece or a whole different animal. My problem with popovers is that they tend to be really blousy. Coupling that with a heavier fabric and typically narrow IH shoulder/ medium length could make for a very unfortunate bell shape. I'm curious to see what the Boss comes up with.
