I can remember talking to the singer of this band with my now ex-wife and he told us about when he went to see Discharge live when then changed their sound. And he said people there were highly upset, and someone urinated in a cup and threw it at Cal and there was a huge fight. 😬

Idk I kind of like the newer sounding Discharge with Cal before the Grave New World album. I think that album is not too great. I am on the fence about the Shootin' Up the World album, and I liked the new stuff they did with Rat from the Varukers. But I don't care for the newest stuff with Jeff singing that much. It's more like Broken Bones than Discharge.

      Old Discharge

Discharge right before Grave New World, possibly my favorite because it is something completely different.

Shootin' up Cal sounds like Brian Johnson  😃

This came out yesterday, and while it's not my favorite thing ever, it's pretty incredible how many different people are singing on the song. Definitely a punk rock super group. There's like 35 or so people singing.

I posted a song from this a few days ago. But I can't get enough of this album. I didn't know who the were but I was listening to Billy Idol doing a show on satellite radio and he mentioned they were his favorite band. So I forgot about them for like 2 years and remembered their name and listened to them.

I'm sorry I keep spamming my awful music in here guys. My condolences.

But anyway, this is dedicated to my estranged friend @Graeme

I hope you are doing well buddy ❤

(I'm surprised this song is so Australian and they didn't use the c-word at least a few times).

I know Rap/R&B isn't as popular as other genres on this site, but this song is so melodic I've been vibin' hard since I first heard it.

Speaking of A Tribe Called Quest, ‘Go Ahead in the Rain’ by Hanif Abdurraqib is beautifully nostalgic and gives a proper account of the group’s sonic development. As far as homages go, William Kroll of Tender Co.’s Pop Punch knitwear made using the patterns from ‘The Low End Theory’ is certainly a highlight https://www.tenderstores.com/brand/poppunch/
