My local brewery hit a home run with this one. An Imperial Porter,brewed with milk sugar and coffee. 8.5% on the alcohol.  Not to sweet,subtle on the coffee flavor,and a bit of creaminess from the milk sugar.

Sounds great to me. Looks good too. A few years back, lactose and coffee was used anlot in imperial brown ales. That was a winner too.

Got a couple of them lined up in the cellar. My favourite of the «standard» Geuze. How did you find it?

Speaking og Belgian sours, I had this last night… Kriek blended with Guiness. I was sceptical but it is very well balanced.
