IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

Hi Guys update after one year wearing 25 777. size 34/36 
My batch is different in size compared wiht the new one and the differrence is basically on the legs, the new batch seems a little bit more relaxed.

To my taste is perfect fit, skinny but not second skin.

My pair has one year of daily use, but my profession is mostly indoors and not physical, already washed 4 times: wash machine  wiht cold water, mild soap and spin 400, even though there was some shrink, but strech back almost to an original shape. (thru the knees are tight but strech back easily).

Really are comfortable pair of jeans, the indigo holds well. I like skinny fit and are perfect, similar to RT skinny fit (I own several of those).
Bottom line after a painful break in are the most loved and comfortable pair of jeans, even in warm weather. Yesterday in Barcelona 29º C. 1 more week and come back to Northampton.

Sorry if this was covered before, but the description says they will shrink an inch with a wash because they are unwashed. And then it states they will stretch about an inch with wear. So if I’m comparing to the measurement chart, is the final measurement for a waist size the starting measurement +1 or is it +0?

Approx zero.  But neither the shrinking nor the stretching is an exact science…..

As Giles says it isn’t exact as there are many variables in play.

Any pair of XHS will end up around about the same as published measurements in the waist after an initial soak/wash and then wear to stretch them back out. They may end up a little bigger than published measurements as you don’t always get that inch of shrinkage.

I just bought a pair of 555 and feel like I got grandpa ass with how high the rise is. Just seeing your comment on the switch from 555 to 777 – what was the driving factor for you? How did the switch from the 555 to the 777 improve your experience?

@Jimothy  I wear my Jeans on my hips and with the 555 I experienced the same problem you speak of. lol It is no longer an issue with the 777,  I also prefer the tapered leg look as opposed to the straight 555. I went with 555 xhs the first time due to 777 xhs being sold out in my size, I regret not waiting or going with the 777 xhsib.
