My home town

Yea, but 6 of them?

Hey, it has it's charm.
For sure…. I find it equal parts funny/scary that during our Saturday morning warm up last September we fit right in there. Huge English breakfast and pints of beer on the High Street follwoed by more pints and friendly chats in what turned out to be one of the dodgiest pubs in a town of very dodgy pubs.

Reminds me of Peniston St. in New Orleans. Someone got the exact green to, ya know… modify it
(and the repainted it every time the city fixed it)

Haha awwww no, the poor residents of that street must get an earful…

We have a road in Gosport called anker lane, the council just can't keep up with the regular nocturnal updates….
I have a student this year named Anker. It is an extreme test of my resolve and testament to depths of will power that I didn't know I had, that I have not made any of the obvious puns yet. It isn't like he doesn't deserve it either.

Something of a contrast to Gosport….
As the fam were getting ready to leave the house this morning we sent the boys out into the veranda to run about as we got our Wesco’s on. As we were taking a while I stuck my head out to check on them. Just as well I did as in that moment I saw something potentially dangerous but also very beautiful and a bit mental.
First came mummy...
Followed by child number one…
Then child number two
Then they stopped 10 meters away from us for a spot of breakfast:

Wildlife right on your doorstep. Beautiful

the 2-legged versions that is…...

@Chap Moose are one of the worlds most dangerous animals if they feel threatened by humans.

Beautiful!
Side note: also love those black tile roofs!

I see… their sheer size alone makes them dangerous. But I thought they would flee like deer when humans appear. My father worked in the automotive industry and was many times in northern parts of sweden where the winter testing grounds are... he was always adviced to drive very carefully up there not to have an accident with a moose.

Up in the Great White North, if you hit a moose with your car, your car is done and you will sustain some injuries, but the moose will likely walk away fine.
