That RRL shirt is fantastic. Sometimes you never know what you're going to get from them looking at the pictures on the website.

@Filthy, me & Jules both love your Wool/cashmere buffalo check workshirt by RRL. Can you shed any light around where you acquired the shirt . . . . thanks in advance buddy. Barcley @den1mhead please keep in mind that the shirt is stretchy and runs a size large if you plan on ordering.

that shirt is truly amazing @Filthy. I don't own anything RRL as nowhere in Minnesota carries it in store. I just don't know the quality vs. price comparison without being able to get my hands on it. Visually their items are a pendulum of love vs. hate for me, and your shirt definitely swings to the love side.

I was inspired to browse the store because I have a Polo western shirt that I love. It is like almost 10 years old and is made from a velveteen chenille fabric. I got it on sale for like $20. I love the way the shirt fits. I think the quality is okay for stuff that is mass-produced.

https://www.ralphlauren.com/men-clothing-sweaters/plaid-wool-blend-workshirt-sweater/0042611087.htmlMy general RRL size is large and they're out of it. But just wanted to chime in to LOL at the original $800 price tag. Come on. For that I could buy 2 UHF's and still have a couple nights of beer money.

@Filthy that buffalo check looks good!
RRL: their Jean's were my actual first real introduction into "real denim"(I am being using [real] very loosely!). I agree with you on their stuff being ok. But every once in a while they do have something interesting.Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I have this same shirt in orange… picked it up at a thrift shop when I was living in Japan. I agree, for a mass produced piece, the quality is pretty spot good, and the fabric feels wonderful.

https://www.ralphlauren.com/men-clothing-sweaters/plaid-wool-blend-workshirt-sweater/0042611087.html@Filthy I couldn't get the link to work as I'm in the UK but using a VPN I was able to view the shirt. $795 is expensive and at the reduced price of $399 I'd defo purchase an IH flannel instead. However, its a great piece

@UnTucked yeah, the fabric is really awesome. Take me a picture of the orange shirt if you feel like it. @den1mhead the shirt is probably now sold out in your size since yesterday. I wonder how many people saw my post and bought the shirt? Yeah it was a lot of money. It was an impulse buy. The strategy of pricing super high and marking it half off immediately worked on me. I looked on the Ralph Lauren UK site for you yesterday and they do not have the same clothes for sale, by the way.
