I think it looks great @Wlemon. Just the right level of vintage inspiration in a modern look, without being hokey, or fancy dress.

Thanks @Paul9221 & @neph93. When California isn't on fire, I plan on wearing it again!

Since we're both in LA, pre-pandemic, I imagined that one day I'd spot you in the Self Edge store or a Whole Foods or something.  I'll keep a look out for denim tuxedoed dudes with hats but it might have to wait until this thing blows over 🙂

The only public IH-spotting I've had was a guy wearing a pair of the IHSNs at a Blue Bottle coffee shop.  I have to admit that I got way more excited than I should have LOL!

Man, I’d have to restrain myself from asking them about it.

Wasn’t there a IH meet up at some point? I know that’s not possible right now but would be fun in the future. I was at Mister Freedom last week getting some goodies. Should post them…

I have this idea that LA would be full of folks in IH. I’m resigned to the fact that seeing a pair in Norway will be limited to the times me and @hajduk meet up but I figured it would not be unusual in LA…

I think it depends on where you go. I haven’t encountered anyone wearing IH, but, at Mister Freedom, they all recognized my new Crazy Check UHF and chatted me up about the brand.

I totally got into a convo with the guy wearing IHSNs.  He's like "Oh, you've heard of Iron Heart?" and of course I was wearing my 888Xhsib, a UHF, and a Type III…I felt like such a fanboi LOL

The convo was too short but I found out that he picked them up at Self Edge in LA.  He wasn't a forum member or anything like that.  Still, it was fun.

I once saw a guy wearing Good Art at the coffee shop that I go to in Culver City.  But I was engaged in a convo with a friend and I couldn't break free.  I regret it so much!

Seeing @Wlemon 's pics has me wanting to try out some 634s. All I wear is the 666 but I've been digging straight cuts lately.

@Palmer it took me a little adjustment. At first, I was very worried they look weird. Without boots, they are a little different. Once you put those boots on, they look awesome. The only thing I found is that western shirts don’t look as good as the work shirts with them. That means I need more work shirts, right? 😃

You know, it took me a while to get used to the wide hem on the 634.  I didn't like how they kinda ate my shoes. But like you said, they worked great with boots.

Then I realized that they look great with a high cuff over a pair of Chuck's.  It's one of my favorite looks now.

Came out really great. I let the tailor decide how much to take them in. He just pinned them up how he thought it would look best. Nothing drastic.

I’ve been wearing my 633s a lot recently and have been appreciating the rise and top block - I do miss my 634s - but one think I have learned is footwear is the key to anything. Chunky work boots and Engineers absolutely dominate with the 634 cut.

I keep thinking about trying this cut even though the last thing I need is another pair of jeans and I have stick legs.

^ this… it’s all about the inseam. At 6’ I’m not tall, but I’m not short either. What makes the 634 less than perfect for me is my 35” waist and 31” inseam.
