Obviously the pour and the increased surface exposure to air means the beer goes flat quickly in a glass, but chemical residue on the glass, from washing detergents or previous beverages will also cause this. A glass that has been used for milk should never again be used for beer, no matter how it has been washed.

My bonus-son will be 18yrs old soon. He has friends who are already 18. They’ve been stealing my empty beer bottles from the recycling without my knowing and putting them to use. They returned one to me full of their first batch of ginger beer as a belated thank you [emoji23]
