It will be between the 33 or maybe the 13. Ive been trying to decide between the two. Since its almost summer here, I might start with the 13…but either one will be great I think...what am I saying? I KNOW:)

@RoxRocks86 Genius and looks awesome! Did you hem (stitch) the edge after cutting them or leave them raw? Also, my wife wants to know how far down you made the cut and can you show a picture of them uncuffed? She wants to see if you cut it straight or at an angle.

@sabergirl haha thanks these have been my go to pair of shorts!!! They get way more wear now than when they were as pants
@goosehd The cut edge is raw & unhemmed. Just cuffed and ironed with a stitch at the bottom to keep the bulky armpit seam locked down. For sleeve length, I measured my fave short sleeve button shirt and added 2 inches for cuffing (added length depends how wide you like your cuffs and/or how many times you want to cuff). As an example my raw sleeve length measures 6 inches shoulder down & armpit 3 inches down. As a suggestion - cut long and test out what you like/looks best.
Also, just a side note to anyone interested in chopping up your IH sleeves - Idk what I was doing, just wanted a short sleeve western denim shirt

@RoxRocks86 the temps have finally dropped down enough where I can start thinking about finally wearing my UHF and over there you are turning long sleeves into short sleeves

Nothing warms my iron heart more than a good heresy. If I cut my sleeves like that given my failing old man arms, I'd be laughed off the shuffleboard court in my gated retirement community.
