Could someone help me find out a cure to my problem so that I can enjoy wearing my IH shirts longer before I wash them? The problem is armpit sweat and the obnoxious smell it throws out. I tried wearing an inner T-Shirt, the problem still persists. I started to use a deodorant, but later on the shirt armpit smells deodorant and I hate that. If I can find a solution such that I can get 6 to 8 full days of wear / wash cycle, it would be ideal. Right now I throw it in the washing machine after 2 or 3 wears.
This shirt together with the Wabash are my favorites.

How many wears I get from a shirt between washed varies from two to five. No more than that. Those particular shirts get even better when you wash them a lot.

I wear mostly 4XL Iron Heart shirts but the 3XL of this one fits me fine. Chest and length are usually my big concerns.

I own 1 Large UHF and 1 XL UHF and I think I am probably in between those sizes- prefer the room in the chest of the XL and the slimmer shoulder/sleeve length of the L.
Do you all recommend an L in the Hickory Stripe? Sizing, overall, looks a slightly bigger than UHF.

Seems like the sensible choice to me. I’m a solid XL in UHF’s. The L’s are too short and a little tight, but I can do L’s in things like this and a some other IH twill shirts.

There’s various clothes sprays on the market. Day 2 do a denim version which is good for denims. Dettol have a clothes spray which it markets as killing 99% of bacteria. I’ve only used them on denims every few months and they certainly freshen them up. May be worth trying on shirts though they’ll need a wash after several wears. Another option is a cold water gentle wool wash with a liquid detergent in a machine or hand wash as hot water washes definitely damage fabrics.

Decided to wear this shirt today for a family photo shoot to mark the arrival of our new daughter. Obviously the shirt’s never meant to be the focal point of this shoot, but nonetheless think our photographer did a stellar job capturing it! Still think this may be my favourite IH shirt.

Lovely bunch you got there @jerkules !!! The way this shirt is captured in this shot. NEED this shirt now. It’s always been on the list. I’m supposed to be done hoarding, I mean splurging ::)
