What's your favorite Beer?

It was a bit of 5 am wine-influenced sentimentality… Although I will welcome next fall even more heartily than I usually do...

That being said, I need a cold god-dang beer  (And thank y'all.)

In other news, I've had a self imposed week off the beer to help ease myself back into 6am starts and working life, after seven weeks of holiday. Went to the monopoly today and dropped about $100 so I'm looking forward to Friday evening

I like your style. I can’t remember what it was called but a mixed pint of Guiness and lager was a thing when I was 18 years old.

Yes indeed. We had that too in the North West. Meaningless really, just a bland pint og brown-ness.

This has had me reminiscing about a night out in Birmingham when I was 18. I drank lots of Black Velvet at Edwards (seedy goth club by the Bullring), and ended up with my arse hanging out of a hedge row in Bourneville. Nasty.

Coke and pils here… Grew up with the stuff... It's not that bad: the coke keeps you hydrated and the bit of caffeine keeps you awake...

Of course: I wouldn't touch that stuff anymore 

My aunt, who lived in London in the seventies, still talks of the beer with lemonade concoction... I remember a friend drinking it as well, btw...

A real RedEye,as in when a cowboy walks up to a bar and says give me a RedEye is beer and tomato juice. Tried it once. Pretty bad. Supposed to be good for a hangover.

No,Hell didn’t freeze over. Decided to try a Milkshake IPA,to see if I could drink it. And I was able to finish it. I think it was good,but since it was my first I have nothing to compare it to. I t was real hoppy when you first picked it up to drink,and the bitterness showed up on the back end. 8.2 on the alcohol which is acceptable.
