Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
Even when we have made lightweight Iron Heart flannels in the past, they have sold poorly. That does not mean we will not stick our toes into the water again at some point…....
Fair enough. I can understand if it doesn’t make sense to go lightweight when UHF’s are your bread and butter. I will continue to buy UHF’s regardless. IH’s global reach is far greater than it was 5-10 yrs ago so I figured lightweight could be an option. I’ll keep my fingers crossed [emoji1696]

Ive been looking at the IHSH-35 Herringbone Work Shirt a lot & would really like to see it make a return.
The classic Herringbone would round out my Hickory & Wabash shirts perfectly and the Olive Herringbone from the IHSH-154 would also be a welcome addition.
Would anyone else like to add one these beauties to their IH collection?

Yes and yes. My grey 154 was sunbleached in a very uneven way. Amazing fabric. Never been lucky enough to see a 35 in the flesh, but that herringbone with those bartacks is a glorious thing.

I only have the double indigo herringbone on the IHSH-165, and on an a sample workvest that never got released. Amazing stuff. It is a great fabric and whenever Haraki-san uses it the results are beautiful, however it doesn’t always capture the imagination of the public at large. For some reason it rarely sells well. Personally I’d love to see more examples of it.

Never know until you ask –-- what about a Type 3 UHF?

It was worth a shot

1- Corduroy pants (Brown like the IHJ-69-BRN)
2- Cargo pants (Khaki, Olive/ Military green, Black)
3- Wool pants - similar to Filson's "Mackinaw Field Pants" (Grey/ Black)
…in the 634 cut ::)

2- Cargo pants (Olive)
…in the 888 cutSeems like the 888 cut sells better than the 634? Perhaps, if the cargos in 888 do well, us 634-peasants can also look forward to being treated

No, the 634 sells marginally better. Data on direct sales from Jan 2019 to present:

Was the decision on releasing the 888 cut based on the retailers' interest or was it more of a "let's first try the 888 and then do the 634" kind of decision? Or perhaps… there will be a 634 version but you just wanted to tease us?
Edited my question*

When the pants are released, it will become clear. As it stands, there are no plans for a 634 cargo

Just a thought . . . How about these shoes lace tags to pimp out those gorgeous Iron Heart lace up boots / sneakers? Picture below shows my Moda in Pelle sneakers with said tags attached which came included and, I feel, sets them apart from other shoes. Could be an IH or IH & GA collab?
