More details on the type III tour thread soon, but I managed to get a couple of trips in the last few days.

Spent an evening pulling cute little trout out of a fast flowing mountain river…

And an afternoon on the fjord going after mackerel and pollock:

Few more shots, first from the fjord, then from the mountain. The mountain river we fished is just behind the peak on the left of the first shot. It is about 20 minutes drive away from the village you can make out, under said mountain, at the end of the fjord.

One of my absolute favourite things. I was doubtful about paying over $100 for a cap, but this was totally worth it.

I will let you know. My grandfather was in Norway doing WW2. Above the arctic circle.

Not so much catch and release…very little insects...But under 35cm fishes has to be NOT released...so...

That is how it needs to be in the trout river I was fishing. Far too many minnows, not enough food for anything to get big and fat.
