^definitely. I wanted the extra length in the wheel base (between the trucks) that "long board" companies use.

Although, I may try to scoop something in the 34-35 inch range. When picking out the coyote, I was nervous about straying too far from a traditional street deck.

I felt the same way, you should check out skull skates the board I posted earlier is a 42"inch popsicle shape and this one is a 36" popsicle.

You can still ollie up curbs and whatnot if you need to. It's a bit harder to kick or heel flip the 42" though

Thanks! Will do. All i want to do is ollie up or over stuff. At 40 years old, that's all i should be doing. Part of this is also  off season training for snowboarding and all i do there is ollie off rollers, etc.

Too old to push my limits….

Some of the boards we rode in the last days….

Rayne with Gunmetal and vintage Powell@Peralta wheels.
Wefunc (Germany) here ,but no skateboards anymore. With Gunmetal and Tunnel wheels.
Summit (Switzerland) Hand build and gorgeous, but unfortunately the company is long dead. With Gunmetal and concealing big YoYo wheels.
Loaded (California) Paris and Orangatan Stimulus.

The Park Board looks intresting to say the least.

Skateboarding is really a lession in positivity, I landed the 360 Shuvit on the Weekend after two weeks of trying and based on that a BS Biggerspin on the Bank the same day, today i wanted to re-do the 360 Shuv and simply couldnt do it. I landed a Kickflip randomly inbetween which is huge for me hence i suck at flip tricks but i basiclly in the moment ignored it because i was pissed that i couldnt re-do the other trick. I shouldve appericiated the accomplished and saved the other mission for later, life lession.

The Second inherent lession is that skateboarding is effin hard  😃 😃 😃

This is what I’m making out of vintage seatingsurfaces with my students.
The multiple layers and the curved shape have a tremendous rebound!
Each one gets a personal design and vintage axels as affordable….

Here is an example with  Barland-Bayonne- France axels from the late 70’. Bought them during a surf trip to Biarritz-France in 1985  8).

We always need vintage stuff to make more…..

I went skating last week for the first time in 2021, winter + no indoor skating due to covid led to a forced skate hiatus for me.
