      I bought a used fishing kayak today. Pics soon

      @Matty123
      My dad fishes using kayaks and loves it.

      You're in CT, correct? My father is down in Stamford and fishes in the harbor. He has an electric motor on it for trolling and general ease of use since he is almost 70.

      I'm up in Newton, but have gone out a few times with him.

                        About as good as it gets with the weather, the water, eating outside with family and friends.
                        Perfect day!

                          I couldn’t tell you for sure, I’m afraid. It is relatively shallow the first 60-70m from the shore, so that certainly warms up over the course of the summer and if the weather is good it is normally bearable by the end of July.

                          Yesterday was warmer than normal for late June but it is worth remembering that a. It was frozen only six weeks ago, b. It it fed by the melt water from the surrounding slopes, and they still had snow in them two weeks ago. So still pretty chilly [emoji1]

                            I've been on a new project for about a month. This one's got a bit of refrigerant piping to it. In recent years, mechanical press fittings have become the norm for connecting pipe. But, there are branch fittings here that require something else. So, today, I get to braze…..

                            I love brazing. It's welding, without all the bright lights and smoke.

                                    Yes. You wouldn't want much of that in the system. The filter drier will pick up any that may occur, if there happens to be an inadequate purge during a braze. But, they're not meant to clean up significant amounts. Having to replace a filter in a newly charged system is big no-no. It's quite likely, I'd never be allowed to braze again, if that happened.

                                        I guess I offered more of an explanation than necessary, then. 😃 Being that, the majority of my work is usually centered around hydronic heating systems, you likely have more knowledge.

                                        It is a VRF system. There are 20 Mitsubishi units throughout the building, mainly in electrical service rooms. There is also a data center, which will have 4 CRACs on a separate system.

                                          I have one CRAC on my system. It’s closer to my sewage outlet than my data centre though.
