It all depends on how you want to wear your vest! The IH vests that I have had were small or medium, and I wear a medium UHF. The small vest was okay over a thin short or tee, but a stretch to button up over a thick shirt. The medium IHV-03 that I have, which is the one most similar to this, I can wear over a tee with the cinch tightened, or over a thicker shirt if I want. The p2p is a little generous when I’m not wearing much underneath, but it still works.
So, go true to size if you want it for layering, or size down for a trim fit with a tee. Make sense?

I wear XL in UHF’s and have (or have had), these in both M and L for wearing over a tee. The M may be snug and will probably ride over your belt but it can work. L is the safest bet.

Any idea when the next restock might be?
I think a small would fit me best, but I have never owned a vest to compare measurements with. I wear a small in UHF workshirt, madras workshirt, and 526L if that helps. There is a medium in stock, but I believe it would be a bit loose at the opening.

Medium will be too big for sure. Depending on how you want to wear it you may be able to do an XS (if they exist)?

The currently listed XS sizing is interesting. On the black version of this vest XS seems too small for me or at least very very tight with anything besides a very fitted tee.
The indigo version XS is fairly similar to small measurements but nearly 2" longer in front. I think the 24.8" length would be too long for the style. Probably just need to wait and see if the measurements on the next run are much different. Thank you for the help.

No probs. I have a bit of experience with vests and having a clear idea of the fit you want, and the way you want to wear them is very important. Knowing what length you are after is vital too, above the belt, in it or below it.
Likely over a tee sometimes and over a tee + workshirt other times. More than likely a small makes more sense for versatility but will result in a more relaxed fit with only a tee underneath. I'll have to bring out the tape measure when I get home from work and sort of estimate how the length will be. Can't compare to having the actual vest on hand, unfortunately.
