First post. A couple of questions about this jean:

      1. When will there be a restock?

      2. How much stretch in the waist can be expected after wearing 10-20 hours or so?

@JES600 Looking at early March hopefully. You can sign up for the restock notification on the product page if you have not done so already.

You can expect approx 1" stretch in the waist with consistent wear. A couple of days wear, moving around, getting up and down etc which subjects the waist to pressure will soon see them stretch comfortably, the 21oz denim is pretty soft to begin with so the break in process is not too difficult. It's not an exact science but 1" is a good estimate IMO.

Note: delivery estimates are subject to change so don't hold me to any estimate you may see! 🙂

The devil is in the detail..

You want to know how much stretch after your first wear? 1-2 days of wearing won’t really get much stretch if you’re sitting at a desk. If you’re working construction  you can expect some stretch.

          Maybe so. Maybe not

@Matty123 @AdamJ Not a construction worker lol. But not behind a desk, either. Lighter weight jeans I've bought stretch 1" pretty quickly. I like to wear my jeans pretty tight, so the waist is under some pressure.

I seem to fall in between sizes a little bit. When the restock arrives I guess I'll make a command decision.

Thanks to both for the quick answers!

@JES600 No problem. There is sometimes some variance between runs, so we'll remeasure and update accordingly if necessary. If you're in doubt just give an us email and we'll be happy to advise further!

This has been one of the more frustrating production runs I can remember. Sorry for all the delays. Theses should be with us (finally) next week.

I look forward to a new run of the 25oz too.

I'm also at 42° N latitude. In the Great Lakes state. I'm very anxious to get my hands on a pair of these 21 oz jeans.

Just received these yesterday and wore them around the house for a few hours. They've already loosened up a little (or maybe my body was warped to fit them  :D). Just like the denim jacket I received a few weeks ago, I'm highly impressed by the quality and workmanship.

Thanks to the forum for helping me decide on the proper waist size. I think these will stretch out to exactly what I want. And thanks to @AdamJ (AJ) for finding that waist size. Maybe a fit pic will come after they loosen up a bit more.

Congrats bro. I think the 21oz denim lends itself best to the 777 cut. Enjoy

@Denimminer Will get a pic today! I measured the jeans (per IH's video) and all measurements were within .125" of what's listed on the site, with the exception of the rear rise. I measured 13.5" to their 13.8". Tough one to measure.

Since I have a skinny ass, I'm always interested in hip size. So with the jeans flat, I measured across directly under the pocket rivets and got 18.125". Doing the same 3" up from the crotch seam I got 19.5".

I measured before trying them on. I'm not a pro at measuring clothing. Take this info with a grain of salt.  🙂

Fit pics after about eight hours of around-the-house wear. Still quite stiff (especially in the top block), but definitely getting easier to wear.

Please forgive the rough cuffs. Haven't taken the time to do it right yet. And the house shoes. I'm not allowed to wear my boots in the house.

I need to make it a point to take the hip measurements , I usually only pay attention to the thigh width and that might be why I can never get the perfect fit.

Well, here it is. Two years, worn almost daily, compared to brand spankin new. No soaks, no washes. That will change very soon.
