Snapped some quick morning bathroom fit pics - went with a small, I'm 5' 8" and 137lbs - not tall by any means - I like the sleeve and body length! This is only my second time wearing it. Love this jacket!
This thing is amazing - I'll get some better pictures in daylight soon.
Could you please let me know what size did you get? Is this a Small or Medium? I'm more or less in the same dimensions as you (height and weight) and I could not decide between a Small and Medium.

- From the web page: "Unsanforized but one-washed, there could be 1/2" shrinkage left in it though, so please size up if between sizes"
- It's windproof and thick, but it is only cotton. I'd have thought it would be OK, but people's propensity to feel cold varies from person to person.
- With difficulty, the construction is complex and the fabric is brutal to sew.
I will consider this. Another question that popped up.
Will this jacket become supple and soft after a couple of months of wear?

Not easily or we would do it. Sizing often varies between production runs so we may end up with a complete mismatch of orders and what we have made.

Seeing the front would be helpful, but yes it does look a little large from the back.
Was in a hurry so did not manage to get front shots! Sorry about that, but at the shop I was told that it is indeed a little big bigger for my body and a small would definitely be snug!

From the picture it seems a little long, and the shoulders a little wide. The arms are also a little long. I don’t think that there is enough shrinkage in the fabric to make it work. How did it button up, and was there a lot of room in the chest?
It is hard to say but I’d imagine the small would work well on you.

Yep, there was lots of room around the chest area after I buttoned it all the way up. I definitely will need size small. The shoulders were kind of okay, but it is the chest and the waist which is a little big big for my taste. I decided that I will take a small. It is now waiting time until one is available!

@Oaktavia I initially sized up one but ended up exchanging it for a smaller size. I hand washed mine in cold water and only lost a small amount of length and chest width.

I think I am in between sizes. My XL IH 101J fits me but it's like wearing a straight jacket when I button it up. From what I read, the 526L-V2 is pretty slim as well. The 101J looks great on me but only when unbottoned, it's like a fashion over function kind of thing I suppose and works only with a t shirt. For example when I drive I can really feel the fabric digging into my armpits.
I've been comparing measurements, and I think an XXL 526L-V2 will fit me better and if it's a little big, I'll throw it in a deep hot clean in my washer. I'm thinking even a XXXL will fit me better than the way my Naked and Famous Elephant 8 jacket fits. I love the 22oz fabric, but it looks goofy as hell when I have it unbuttoned with just a t shirt. It's like a tent….so it'll be a strictly outer shell in the winter kind of jacket.
Once I get my stimulus check, I think I'll pick one of these jackets up as well as a pair of 777XHS for my quarantine tuxedo. I can't think of a better combo :D.

@Oaktavia did you end up getting this jacket? It seems like it might fit me actually, too. Long torso club! If you did, how do you like it? I guess I haven't seen it on your feed, so probably not…
I'm just wondering about the arms on this bad boy. They look kinda big and loose? But, as it's the only jacket that might actually fit me, and they only have my size left, i think i'll get it (in a couple weeks ;))
