Thanks @Seul ! Out of 4 Viberg boots, all of which I like equally, this pair gets the most use…something about them just beckons to pull them out of the closet and on the road.
Yes, the Country Derby are tanks, but like jeans, one pair is never enough. Hit the Viberg site, they sell a nice Viberg Conditioner for Waxed Flesh boots, beeswax, very light on the fingers, give the boots a clean, then a nice coat of the wax conditioner, and it'd take you another 4 years to get them looking like that again.
Since this is a Viberg thread, here's my pair of Viberg Bourbon Shell Cordovan and my Viberg Mahogany Shell Cordovan boots, sometimes I just never want to take these boots off. All size 12D.

Have to take a pic of my Brown Horsebutt Service boot, sometimes hard to tell they're not shell.
Have Alden Indy 403 and in Shell, as well as the Shell Brixton Brogues, and they feel great, just in my opinion, nothing supports and holds the feet as well as Viberg.

Does anyone have mini ripple service boots? What do you think of them? Hows the comfort? Pretty comparable to a raptor sole etc?
Brooklyn clothing just released a few different makeups and the green RO on mini ripple has me feeling the need for another pickup.

Those are killer! I am really tempted by the mini ripple. I like the version where there is the full leather midsole. My next resole I'd like to go that route.

That cordovan!
Conditioned my Notre Guidi matte black calfskin SBs. I really like how the grain evolves as the leather breaks in. I was worried about losing the matte, dusty finish the leather has, but I think it will return. Need to brush off some of the dust attracted by the conditioned, tacky surface and black the outsole edges.

@kkibbey23 I have pair of mini ripple sole Vibergs from Rivet and Hide. I find them really comfortable. I hope you do too. The olive green colour way on the ones you are picking up look really good, congrats in advance!
