I'd love to see a UHF in this gold/black colourway:

Moleskin jeans in a 888 cut, using a substantial fabric that seems to be missing in the market.
R.M.Williams once did a decent pair of “Riders” in a heavy stiff Moleskin, but now only offer a lightweight cotton drill.

How much of that beige/black denim is there laying around?  How about a rider's jacket made with that denim, lined with dark grey ripstop, stuffed with Primaloft?  Or a tanker jacket with that denim?

Apart from  that, I'd love to see the next gen Primaloft vests come with vertical chest pockets, similar to the one's found on the IHJ-79.  The technical tops from Iron Heart are my most used jackets in the colder seasons, as they're lightweight and practical.  Minus the vest, which needs more pockets.

I'd settle for the 888 cut in that denim, but a well conceived jacket would be the tits. I was bang up for the type II idea until "lack of retailer interest" put the knockers on it. "Lack of retailer interest" is like the "musical differences" of the IH world. A phrase that brings with it the pain of never getting to experience what might have been…

Type III's and to some extent Type I's and II's have been done one way or another.  But rider's jackets in some form or another haven't been done in different iterations for the past few years?  Correct me if I'm wrong?

I wouldn’t mind more pockets either but even without, it’s a great vest. It is really warm under my IHJ-80.

We used to make the 527 jacket in black/beige, the IH-1527J.  We stopped making it because it did not sell very well.

I can't for the life of me find any images of it… am I over-caffeinated?

@Alex, @Giles, how successful would you say the idea of making every UHF in a workshirt version has been this year? Or is it still too early to tell?  Is it something you think you will continue to do in the future?

I think it was a great idea and IMO it seems to have been pretty successful so far as it looks like they have all sold pretty well.  I may be a bit biased considering I prefer the work shirt versions over the westerns lately but I do hope that it is something you guys plan to do with all UHF releases in the future.

Will def be continuing the new tradition…

I picked up the snow in a western and the mustard in a work, and they're both great.  I prefer the styling of the pockets and yoke pattern on the work shirts but prefer the slimmer fit of the westerns.  They're both lovely for different reasons.
