I meant the shorts. They don't make a breathable leather… That's kinda the point of skin

It's essentially the same tanning process. The tannery that makes the deerskin for the Big Buck specializes in leather fro lederhosen….

There is almost no stuff that feels more comfortable like deerskin. Best breathability, warm surface soft as kind of babys butt. You can not compare it with smooth leather.The Tanning process needs over a year, there is almost no leather that is more expensive. For that reason price for shirt for about $1,500 is more than fair. Look for prices for "Meindl" shirts…

The dye is painted onto the surface of the hide, it wears off over time to reveal the underlying colour.  It's a similar process to what happens with tea-core leathers…

Scotland and Bavaria have a lot in common. I guess Reuben is right and I have to risk my marriage. (Also this helps me avoid getting the meindl trousers  I always wanted).
