Damn that sucks. Coming to a dead stop from 25 knots, at night, out in deep ocean, must be a hell of an experience, and not in a good way.

Any news on how they made out?

Just looked it up and see that they made it back to port yesterday.  Five days and 800 nautical miles with no keel.  That is insane and glad they made it safely.

And he's off again.  Departed Gosport yesterday for the start in Les Sables-d’Olonne.

If he does not break anything, then this is time.  He thinks he could do the race in 67 days.  67 days! It was not that long ago that around the world in 80 days was a pipe-dream….
