I made the pond 2 feet deep, so there is quite a volume of water in there.  But the fish is in super condition, so obviously doing well…

G:  Hey Paula, can I go on a fishing trip to….
Paula:  Didn’t you just get back from one?  This makes the ..... this year.
G:  (deep thought for a while). Paula, Can I build a tranquility pond in the garden?

@Giles has more game than that. He invites @Madame Buttonfly on a trip to northern Norway to see the midnight sun, the beautiful scenery and cute cabins. Just so happens that Norway is ripe for fishing trips and we knew Paula and Hot Ingrid were going to get get on like a house on fire. Boom… everybody's happy

Jesper got it on the hook, he needed a bit of help to get it in the boat. We’re guesstimating 20kg. The filets got spilt 50/50 with his mate and our share weighed 4kg.

This is a striped bass.. Little guy. Let him go. These fish grow up to 75lbs out in the ocean

On a boat with the proper gear. you can get right on top of the HUGE schools and catch 100-200 of these. No joke. Up to 30” the schoolies are

Too many baits but no fish? Have you tried Gosport harbour? There are even fish in Venice Channels due to less boat travel there with Corona
