      @Filthy:

      Interesting lamp. The middle one is so sick. The top one reminds me of 'Where the Wild Things Are'.

      Thats exactly what appealed to me when i saw the Vår blanket. My favorite book as a kid, loved the art in that book. And the lamp i made with parts from the local hardware store.

      Cheers! 

        Eighth Generation are a Native American owned brand that do a range of blankets.

        I don't know anything about them, but they were mentioned in an interview with Erik Brodt of Ginew.

                  Looking for a blanket suggestions. Twin sized (66” x 90”) organic cotton or linen mid to lightweight blanket. Anything anyone has tried and likes? I’m looking for something to replace a blanket I’ve had forever which is starting to disintegrate. See a few different brands via google but reviews seem to be all over the place.

                    @neversummer I've got a Donna Wilson bear blanket in lambswool. She's started offering them in cotton, along with a cat.

                    There's also lino and folk woven patterns in her cotton blankets.

                    The wool blanket is nice, but I haven't seen the cotton ones. They're made in different factories (and countries), so I can't draw a fair comparison.

                    BasShu sell traditional style patchwork quilts, which might be an alternative to blankets. I've seen these at Heffernan and Haire here in Melbourne, and they look good.

                      Bemboka do some very nice (and very expensive) cotton blankets. I haven't seen them, but the finishing looks good in the photos.

                        @Graeme Thank for the suggestions. The Basshu quilts are really nice looking. Don’t mind spending some money on bedding, after all it’s where we spend the most time. I’ve also had the blanket this will replace since I was a kid, at least 30 years.
                        I’m now 39, do this could be the last one I ever buy. Which is kind of depressing.

                          @neversummer alternatively you can look on it as buying something that lasts! 🙂

                            @Graeme True, that’s how I look at Iron Heart stuff. It’ll outlast me and belong to my daughter one day.

                              It took me a long time to choose a blanket for the bedroom. I wanted it to be symbolic. I came up with the idea to make it with our family photo. I borrowed this idea from my friends. In the living room, they have a blanket with a picture of their animals. They said I can order a personal print of the blanket here https://myfacesocks.com/collections/face-blankets. I'm thinking of making some custom blankets so that I can change them as often as possible. I think that in addition to the family photo, I will order a blanket with a starry sky on it. Has anyone ordered any printed blankets? I wonder what you would choose instead of a print.

                                Love that Rickard Javerling record! I need to pop it on, been a while. Love that label in general.

                                Agreed its a good album and i also buy quite a bit on Hoga Nord.

                                I love the unexpected style of the Hoga Nord label as well @bryaneidins70 @popvulture
