Not trying to start a big argument, but how doe Wesco stack up to Red Wings? Curious if there are huge differences.

I like Red Wing and have worn them for work for many years. Red Wing is Triple A, Wesco is the Show.
There's simply no comparison. Fit,leather, build, the best boots I own. Seeing is believing.

Let me start off by saying I am a HUGE Red Wing Heritage boots fan! I thought they were the pinnacle of hand made in the USA boot available. After viewing blogs like this one and reading reviews online, I decided to purchase a pair of Wesco "Custom Boss" vintage engineer style boots. After viewing some of the photos u gentlemen have posted I now "needed not just wanted a pair"LOL! From my vantage point in the Wescos vs Red Wing debate, in my opinion the Wescos is a more substantial/well made product. Both companies do put out some amazing footwear and I will not hesitate to purchase another pair of Red Wing Heritages or West Coast Shoe Companies,both makers are that good…but my next custom ordered boot will be a pair of Wescos (not "WHITE's, not "Danners", not "Wolverines" or even "Vibergs")so that says something about who in my opinion makes the best hand made boots in the good ol US of A !!

I got a wide foot- I wear 8EE in White's SD, RW Iron Ranger, Whites Nomads.  I had a pair of 8EE Boss that were a little too tight (same thing with the Whites).  Do you think the 8E would fit?  Is there returns on shoes in case they dont?  I really want these beasts… @Giles

Wondering if anyone has any sizing insight on these in relation to Brannock sizing?

I'm a 12 in a Brannock and in RedWings.  Just not sure if these particular Wesco collabs run any smaller?

Yep.  Click on the "How We Measure" tab and you'll see that US 9 approximtaes to UK 8…

But we have US 10 in both D and E width which approximate to UK 9.

If you usually take a UK9 you will most likely be a US10 in these. They are running true to size.

Need some advice on sizing guys. I am an 11D us Brannock and i also wear 10.5D in Whites boots the 55 last. I wear 11.5 and some time 12 us in adidas and 12us in Nikes. Never had a pair of Wesco boots but i am seriously considering this pair.
