This version swaps out sultanas for chopped prunes and dates and rather than steep the fruit in brandy (because I did not have any to hand) I used Martini Rosso and Schnaps…..

I think that one was made by Heather (ex) of the Pump House.  This one should last, especially if I am tardy about putting on the marzipan and icing it.  If not I'll make another.

They're super easy, just use a shit load of kitchen utensils…

I have the luxury of not cooking anything - I just mixed the gin & tonics and can now relax and watch Giles and Alex preparing dinner.  I will leave them to entertain you (and me) further…

Tonight we are playing with Giles' new kitchen toy and his new BBQ grill and cooking some sirloin steaks

Then we are making a potato salad, grilling corn on the cub with a miso butter and grilling some baby gem lettuces
