It is indigo corduroy… but you’re right the inside looks like that.

The indigo corduroy is woven like denim (that is with a white weft and an indigo dyed warp).  The warp is tufted into wales post weave to create the ribs on the face of the fabric, the white you see on the reverse, is the weft.
