The new Kanal jacket has arrived and I am pleased to report that it is über-awesome!! First off, I had no idea the sheepskin would be so buttery soft. It is super soft on the outside.
I got my jacket in extra heavy black on black 15mm, usually the jacket is black leather and white fur…
Also, they were able to hook me up with an American style right hand zipper pull. I wanted it in silver to match the snaps.
The sewing on the collar, throat latch and all over is really great.

Thanks guys! Debs Toohey is very helpful in figuring out the right size. I think we exchanged 30 or so emails over the course of a month to get all the details just right. My jacket took a while longer because the 15 mm black/black was a special order from the tannery. But she said that they are going to make it a regular item now if you want to buy your own. The collar fur was always black, but I didn't want white fur because I wear black clothes and I didn't want it to showing it sheds.
I placed my order the last week of January and got it the end of April.

@Graeme you've clearly never been to Pennsylvania in January. Haha. Anyway it was over 20 c here yesterday and I had it on for about a half an hour and it wasn't too bad. This is what I was hoping for a super warm jacket.

I couldn't resist this outlet Model which might be the IH Bareback, just in my size. The stains will keep me from treating the jacket with too much respect.
