thinking about pulling the trigger. I've heard a couple owners here recommend sizing down and was wondering if there was any sizing advice from you guys please? I know I asked a few months ago but maybe a few more opinions/impressions would be great.

in my experience, advice on sizing on this forum has been spot on

      Im 5'11 172 lb, wear a L in UHF.

      thanks again in advance.

I'm 5'10", 170lbs, L in UHF and I went with a M on this. But I don't use it like a shirt, I use it as a shirt jacket over a t-shirt.  Not sure that I could button it all the way to the top, I was going for a more slim fit.

        Blanket-line all the things!!!

I’m a similar build but I think it depends how you want to wear it and what your chest measurement is. My chest is about 39”-40” and I could likely fit into a medium or large. I might opt for the large and hot wash it to get any shrink out. Likewise, you could do a medium and cold wash

hey guys I noticed that the weft of my shift is noticeably dense and a shade of blue/grey (as opposed to the standard white or beige weft on other indigo offerings..)

do you know if this denim is used in a specific jean? I really like how it looks and think it would look great in a jean..

                thanks guys

We have an issue with the current batch of IHSH-75, the buttonholes are failing.  We are recalling all that are left with retailers and have taken ours off the website.  We know the cause, but the fix is difficult and the issue only becomes apparent when the button hole fails  If we can't find a satisfactory resolution, we will not make any more work shirts out of the 12oz denim…..

Had a week long love affair with this shirt that ended a couple days ago when I shipped it back to Self Edge.  😞
Please do remake with a different denim! I will definitely buy it.

12oz is not a lightweight denim (for shirts).

About a month ago I had one of the top button holes repaired and I noticed three more in need of work but I'm ok with getting it repaired because it seems stronger than new.  What was the cause of the failures?

I think it was something like the frequency of the stitch of the buttonhole machine not fitting the weave of the denim.

Actually, it is the frequency of the stitch perfectly matching the frequency of the weft and warp…
