What's your favorite Beer?

In common with Seul I’m a fan of this brewery. Their “Cellar Series” has been a mixed bag however. This is good though. Will probably be great in a year or two.

I called the liquor store and asked them about this particular brewery and I guess it was a seasonal run back in November. He had one 4 pk left and saved it for me. $16 though  ??? Guess i'll find out tonight if it's good or if it tastes like skunk piss

I’m just not used to spending a lot on beer. There are definitely single brews here that are in the same price you mentioned

And fwiw, the imperial chocolate truffle porter wasn’t that great [emoji53] hopefully the hazelnut and raspberry truffle versions are better

Yeah, the chocolate truffle porter had a bitter aftertaste that didn't sit too well with me. Prior to buying this beer I read some negative reviews of the chocolate and hazelnut truffle but positive reviews for the raspberry truffle.

So true @emceeQ - really good balance. I love the deep Ellen beers for their smart takes on easy drinking classics, but this might actually be the best brew out of Dallas right now.

@formulapfaff and I continued our tradition of ramen followed by some beer sharing

Kirin with the ramen and karaage

Then Funky Gold Simcoe

And Anderson Valley Briney melon Gose
