      I dont know if this has been brought up before but I would love a indigo/indigo 526J or 526PJ on 18oz denim.

      Has this been made? Would this be viable?

      We did a 18oz type 3 once:

      I thought it would sell like crack, but it di not, so it went the way of the Dodo

      I like the measurements in that type 3. Big. Though I wonder if that had to
      Do with it’s demise

      Maybe so. Maybe not

            Funny how that works. That’s a strong selling point for my

              More mountain parkas. That IHJ-65 is absolutely glorious. Incredible design. I can’t do denim winter wear up my way because of the amount of water that falls from the sky, so something a little less absorbent than 21oz rht would be nice. So whipcord, Melton wool, fekkin lined Cordura. Screw it, if you make it in cotton duck I’ll wax the bugger.

                  I know I suggested something like this before but I'd love an alpaca lined type iii with a furry collar. I've basically done something similar with the IHV-31-BLK and my IH-526Lod (two of my favorite IH pieces). Bad picture below which doesn't really do the combination justice, but enough to give you an idea of what it might look like.

                  @organisys:

                  Yep. Great idea! SBG, long and Alapaca?

                  @spitfiredealer:

                  That looks quality.

                  Sneaky purchase admission time.

                  I’ve been on a buying moratorium for a while to allow finances to recover but I’ve always loved the IHV-29. It was also out of bounds because I own just under 3.5 million vests.

                  This idea pushed me over the edge on the last one IHV-29 The Outlet. I have a slightly oversized IH-526j-od and if the combo looks half as good as your pic doesI’ll be a happy bunny.

                  EDIT: I’ll add that if the combo looks shit then I won’t really care because now I have a IHV-29 [emoji1]

                    Before my time unfortunately. But the type 3 on double indigo would definitely still be on my wishlist regardless of of weight.

                      The vest is absolutely amazing, it’s so warm. I wore these two (with hat and gloves) in -10 degree weather this week and it worked fine but it’s not been too hot transitioning from the type iii alone or going in and out of doors. Definitely a step up from a UHF and the type iii.

                      I’m sure you’ll love the vest if you don’t have a sililarly lined one (or even if you do!)

                          Linen tolerates very high temperatures (in fact it likes them) so overdying it shouldn’t be harder than overdying cotton. Last years linen shirts did ok, so you never know.

                            To complete the CPO with a corduroy collar trilogy,we need a black one,duck or denim with a black corduroy collar. SBG might be cool as it would fade differently than the collar.

                              I'd like the IHTB-01 with stripes yarn dyed indigo - so black X IND, red x IND, and maybe a couple more - I realize it cannot have the full range of course.

                              And yes, I realize it would be more dinero.

                                  I (and/or others) may have mentioned it previously, but a commando sweater is IMO right up IH's alley. I could see it with heavy vertical ribbing in either of the above colors @UnTucked specified for the IHT-1600 and matching duck shoulder and elbow patches. Of course there could be a version with denim patches too–a black one with SBG, OD, or reactive dyed black patches or navy with indigo denim patches would also be cool. Perhaps alpaca wool could be sourced for it.

                                  Think it, be it.

                                        I’d love to see a white linen non-sawtooth western, that would be a great replacement for the two 67’s that I sold recently. Would make a great summer shirt.

The things i'd change would be make it shorter in length, and remove the chest pockets and give it two front slash pockets like the IHJ-38 Primaloft Riders jacket. I have a cheap Orvis quilted vest that I wear the sh*t out of, but it's cheap. I like the idea of an IH version suited for Fall/Spring layering.
