Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Black wool exterior, I would vote primaloft liner, or blanket lined.

Primaloft!

Primaloft gold. I’m into it. Center the placket somehow and it sounds like the ultimate coat. Cozy warm pockets please.

Mofucker would be super heavy with a blanket lining and heavy wool. Not in the market, but if I were I'd be pushing for nylon quilted PL

Alpaca>wool
Still would buy it though

On the other hand, alpaca is a big part of the charm of the -15.
Definitely is, and unmodified, it works.
But, even with my navy IHM-09 I get alpaca fuzz on the exterior of the coat all the time, and it's annoying, lol! It's to the point that I bought multiple lint rollers; one in my closet, one in the car, and one at my work desk.

Just finished some google searching, and there aren't many examples of wool coats with fur, and I would assume it's for the reason I stated. -

.This surprises me. I've never seen so much as a hint of alpaca shedding from my RMC deck jacket, so there must be a way to secure the pile.
I'm reading that people want a classic fabric with technical characteristics. Perhaps a whipcord made of Epic or a similar weather-resistant cotton would be a good compromise with an alpaca liner?

I’ve never noticed any shedding from my deck jacket either.

I don't want to get in to a pissing match of right vs wrong, because you guys could very well have a different experience than I have with your garments.
To make sure I'm not crazy, I checked last night and sure enough, just rubbing the lining on my IHM-09 and IHV-22 results in shedding. I would have taken pictures, but there's just no way to prove that I didn't forcefully "pluck" the alpaca in order to make a point.

would love that in a solid flannel option too

Since my baja pullover idea went over like a lead balloon, how about an Ultra Heavy Flannel cpo lined with the same padding as the IHV-32 vest? The face on the new vest is fantastic. It feels rough for about a day the is gets reallly soft. I can tell that my new vest is gonna become my old friend. The face of the new vest would be the inside of the liner.
Back in the early 90s I had a sherpa lined Woolrich jacket that i loved. It got stolen from my locker in High School. I think maybe this is why I love the new green block check so very much… it reminds me of that Woolrich coat. The coat belonged to my Grandfater and was green and white plaid. The check looked similar.
I hope you will consider it Giles. The UHF is awesome and demands to be made into something other than a shirt. I hope maybe you'll go with the blue black brown white color scheme I keep asking for.
