I liked it too. Great cast.

Yeah, it’s not as good as those two but, I found it fun and passed the time quite well. And, as a North American, I wasn’t used to seeing Gerard Butler, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy and Thandie Newton in these kind of roles. (Mark Strong being Mark Strong in a Guy Ritchie film helped, too.)
I also enjoyed Revolver, though…

Any movie with Lou Reed’s “The Gun” has gotta be good

Well there you go. I was deeply dissapointed and found it lacked the style, class and humour of Snatch and Lock, Stock, both of which I love.
My feelings too. It felt recycled but not in a good way.

Cary Fukunaga to direct next Bond film.
Pretty excited about this. I really liked True Detective, so it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the Bond universe.

American Made: 6/10
Not great but not terrible. I typically like Tom Cruise’s films regardless of the subject matter. I don’t see him doing too many biopics either so it was a nice departure from his usual action/sci-fi films.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - 6/10
Overall I think the Jurassic Park/World movies are mindless fun but one recurring theme that always pops up with these types of films is the overwhelming stupidity of the characters, and it annoys me to no end. Case in point, a character that needlessly screams or yells and attracts the attention of whichever dino pops up.

Solo: 6/10
Wasn’t great but wasn’t completely terrible either. Same as the new Jurassic World movie where it just went through the motions. Pretty average as far as SW movies go.

Venom. 5/10.
Wait for it on redbox or some other such reduced price straight to video source.

The trailer didn’t look that great so I’m not surprised

Anyone watched Gotti (with John Travolta?). Trailer looks interesting and has a Goodfellas feel. I'm going to give it a go on Amazon.

CASHBACK: not sure what it wants to be as a flick, but it's great fun, sweet, good vibes… Story is almost too corny... Art student loses girl, develops insomnia, starts working at a Sainsbury's, finds love again...
TREES LOUNGE: aaaah yes... Thé movie for a real boozehead... Classic made by and starring Steve Buscemi... If you're gonna have a drink every time someone else drinks, you'll be dead in 15 minutes...

I started too but was put off by Travolta's plastic surgery… i mean make up.

Saw this movie, found it entertaining.I don't know anything about the skating scene in the 90s,so have no reference points on it's authenticity. Curious as to what some of you,who skate, might think of this. First movie written and directed by Jonah Hill. Said he got skaters to act as opposed to actors to skate.

Another one I viewed this morning… Errol Morris, so you know it's good... I can only link to a Youtube version but you can find it without those annoying hardcoded Spanish subs on Pass the Popcorn and IP Torrents.
This is about Fred Leuchter... If that name doesn't ring a bell, Google "Leuchter report" or "Ernst Zündel"... I remember coming across this report last summer when I was viewing WWII documentaries about the crematoria... It just shows how big an idiot you have to be to question such an outrageously horrid massacre based on "science" the Leuchter Report provides...
